Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program

• Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker Stream

  At the time of the application, the following criteria must be met:

  • Applicant must have a minimum Canadian equivalence at college, university, trade or technical school or other formal secondary institution.
  • Applicant must have experience in the field of interest
  • Applicant must have minimum experience of 12 months
  • Applicant must have an English or French score of CLB 4
  • Applicant must be 18 to 50 years of age
  • Applicant must have intent to live and work in Saskatchewan
  • Additional points are awarded to those who have:
    • Family in Saskatchewan
    • Past work experience in Saskatchewan
    • Past student experience in Saskatchewan

• Saskatchewan Farm Owner and Operator Stream

  At the time of the application, the following criteria must be met:

  • Applicant must provide documentation for financial status
  • Applicant must put down refundable deposit
  • Applicant must have experience and knowledge in farm operation in one of the following:
    • Farm Ownership
    • Farm Management
    • Farming Experience
  • Applicant must be under 40 at the time of application
  • Applicant must have marketable employment skills

• Saskatchewan Experience Stream

  At the time of the application, the following criteria must be met:

  • Skilled worker with existing work permit
  • Semi-skilled Agriculture Worker with existing work permit
  • Health professionals
  • Hospitality Sector Project
  • Long-Haul Truck Driver Project
  • Students

• Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Stream

  At the time of the application, the following criteria must be met:

  • Applicant’s Business must create economic benefit to the province of Saskatchewan
  • Applicant must have existing operational business or be purchasing an existing business
  • Sole Proprietorship, partnerships and Corporations must meet legal requirements
  • Business must be for-profit
  • Business must be a permanent establishment
  • Applicant must provide documentation for financial status
